Cliq Enables Radio Listeners To Buy What They Hear

A new service , known as Cliq , has launched today. Cliq enables anyone listening to DAB digital radio on there mobile phone to buy the songs they hear.
19 stations are participating including Heart, Magic, Galaxy and Smooth, and all four major record labels have lent their support.
Customers will need to load Cliq software on to their phones. It will then give a list of the last five songs played by each radio station.
To buy a song the user then clicks on the selected track , which then downloads the song to their pc.
One song using this service costs £1.25 which is a significantly higher than the 79 pence charged by Apples iTunes music store.
